Getting started

What exactly is Plotr Pro's?
Plotr Pro's is an app for self-employed tradespeople who drive from customer to customer every day. You enter the day's visits and the app puts them in the smartest driving order by itself, respects "customer only home after 4", gives an arrival time per visit and opens Waze, Google Maps or Apple Maps for directions. No account, no cloud: everything stays on your phone.
Isn't this just Google Maps?
Google Maps and Waze get you from A to B. Plotr decides what A, B, C, D and E are: the order of your whole day, with time windows and your home as the end point. Then it sends you to Google Maps or Waze for the route. They work together: Plotr plans, your navigation app drives.
How do I plan my first day?
1. Open Plotr and enter your home address when the app asks (Settings › Home). 2. Tap tomorrow in "My Days". 3. Tap + and enter a client: name and address, or pick one from your contacts. 4. Repeat for every visit. The order appears by itself and adapts to every change. 5. Tomorrow morning: tap "Go" on the first visit.
Does Plotr work without internet?
Yes, once an address has been looked up once. Driving times are fetched when there is a connection; without one, Plotr uses straight-line distance and the order stays usable. Your navigation app needs its own connection or offline maps.

Visits and order

The order isn't right for me. Can I change it myself?
Yes. Press and hold a visit and drag it where you want. Plotr remembers your choice for that day. To go back to the calculated order, tap "Reverse order" or remove and re-add the visit. Tip: if a customer is only available at a certain hour, enter a time window on the visit instead of dragging. The rest of the day stays optimal.
A customer is only home after 4. How do I enter that?
Open the visit › "Time preference" › "Customer is available after" and pick the hour. You can also set "Customer needs you before", for example 12:00 for a bakery. The order respects it and the arrival times shift.
How does Plotr know how long I stay at a customer?
In Settings you set a usual job duration (shortest and longest). Per visit you can override it under "Time on site". Arrival times are calculated from that. Once the day is under way, Plotr uses your real departure time from the previous customer.
I don't leave from home but from my warehouse. Is that possible?
Yes. Settings › "Other places you start from" › "Add a place". Then on the day screen choose under "Leave from" between Home, Where I am, or your warehouse. Once a visit today is done, Plotr automatically starts from where you are now.
Can a customer come back onto the list automatically every month?
Yes. Open the visit › "Schedule again" › choose every month, every 3 months, every year or a custom rhythm. A week before the customer is due, they appear under "Time to go back" at the top of My Days, with the "Plan" button.

Arrival detection

What is "Arrival detection" and what does it do with my location?
If you switch it on for a day, your phone asks for location permission "always". With that, your phone notices when you leave a customer's address, even with the app closed, and Plotr asks: "Done?". Your location is not stored and never sent to us; everything happens on your phone. Switched off, the app works normally and you mark visits done yourself.
Arrival detection doesn't ask anything when I drive off. What now?
Check in this order: 1. Location is set to "Always" (iPhone: Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Plotr Pro's; Android: Settings › Apps › Plotr Pro's › Permissions › Location › "Allow all the time"). 2. Notifications are allowed for Plotr. 3. You stayed at least the set minimum time at the customer (5 minutes by default, adjustable in Settings). 4. Android: turn off battery optimisation for Plotr (Settings › Apps › Plotr Pro's › Battery › Unrestricted). 5. The "how close counts as arrived" distance is at least 150 m if you work in the countryside. If it still doesn't work, send us a message from Settings › Contact support; your phone model and OS version go with it if you tick the box.
Can Plotr mark a visit done automatically without asking?
Yes. Settings › "Mark visits as done automatically" › turn off "Ask me first". Plotr then marks the visit done itself as soon as you leave after the minimum time. Handy if you often swipe the notification away; less so if you sometimes only drop off materials.

Navigation apps

Plotr says "No navigation apps found". What now?
On iPhone, Apple Maps is always in the list; if you see nothing, restart the app. On Android: install Google Maps or Waze from the Play Store and reopen Plotr. If the app is installed but not in the list, send us a message from Settings › Contact support (tick the technical details); that is a bug we can fix quickly.

Clients and contacts

How do I add a client from my contacts?
Tap + › "Contacts" and pick one contact. That needs no permission for your whole address book: your phone shows the picker and Plotr only gets that one contact. If you want Plotr to search your whole address book and keep addresses in sync both ways, switch on "Use my contacts" in Settings. That does ask for the contacts permission.
Does Plotr change addresses in my contacts without me knowing?
No, never. If a linked contact gets a different address, Plotr asks you each time whether it may take it over, in the app or in your contacts. If you say no, nothing changes.

Subscription and billing

What does Plotr cost?
€29 a month, €290 a year (two months less than paying monthly), or €499 once for a lifetime licence. New customers try it for 2 weeks first; only then is anything charged. Prices include VAT and may differ slightly by country; the exact price is shown in the app before you confirm.
How does the 2-week trial work?
If you choose a monthly or yearly subscription, a 14-day trial starts first through Apple or Google. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end and you pay nothing. Don't cancel and the subscription starts automatically at the price shown. If you buy a lifetime licence during the trial, the remaining trial is forfeited.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Not in Plotr itself, but with Apple or Google. That's how every app works. iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Plotr Pro's › Cancel Subscription. Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Plotr Pro's › Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. After cancelling, the app keeps working until the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too. iPhone: in the app, tap Settings › Contact support › "Request a refund"; that opens Apple's refund sheet. Or go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and pick the purchase. Android: request a Google Play refund, or send us a message. We can't refund store purchases ourselves, but if something doesn't work, we help you back up the request.
What does "lifetime" mean exactly?
One payment of €499 and you use Plotr for as long as the app exists on the App Store or Google Play, on your current phone and the next, with no renewal. "Lifetime" refers to the life of the app on that store. The licence is tied to your Apple or Google account; a licence bought on iPhone doesn't apply on Android and vice versa; that is how the stores work. The first 100 buyers pay €499; after that the price goes up.
Can I get an invoice for my bookkeeping?
Apple and Google send a receipt after every payment to the email address of your store account; that is the proof of purchase for your accountant. iPhone: Settings › your name › Media & Purchases › Purchase History. Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Budget & history. We can't issue a separate invoice, because Apple and Google are the seller and remit the VAT.

iPhone, Android and new phone

New phone. How do I get my subscription back?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account as at purchase, install Plotr and tap "Restore purchases" (on the paywall or in Settings). Your clients and visits live only on your old phone; if you migrate the old device with Apple's or Google's backup before wiping it, they come along.
When is Plotr coming to Android?
The App Store version launches on 2 November 2026. The Android version follows on 11 January 2027, because Google requires a test period with at least twelve testers for a new app from a single developer. People on the list get the link that day and keep the founder price until a week after.
Where is my data, and how do I back it up?
Only on your phone, in the app. There is no account and no cloud of ours. Your phone's backup (iCloud or Google) includes Plotr's data, as with any app. Delete the app and your clients and visits are gone.
There are two of us. Can we share one list?
Not yet. Plotr is built for one person with one phone and shares nothing through a cloud. Working as a team or with a planner is on the list for later. To use it with two people now: each their own phone, each their own visits.

Privacy and data

What data ends up with you?
No clients, addresses, visits, location or contacts. They never leave your phone. What is processed: your purchase through Apple or Google, and an anonymous app ID at RevenueCat so your purchase can be recognised and restored. And one thing you send yourself: a support request from Settings › Contact support, with your message, your email address and, if you tick the box, the app version and device type. It leaves only when you tap Send. Addresses are sent by your phone to Apple Maps or Google to place them on the map. It's all in the privacy policy.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete the app; that removes the local database. If you also want the anonymous purchase record at RevenueCat erased, send a message from Settings › Contact support with "Privacy or my data" as the topic; your app ID goes with it and we erase it within 30 days. Your subscription is cancelled separately with Apple or Google (see "How do I cancel my subscription?").

Still stuck?

Ask your question below, or in the app under Settings › Contact support. Both land with Ruben, usually with a reply within one working day.

Thanks. Your message is in Ruben's inbox. He usually replies within one working day.
That didn't work. Try again or email us directly.

Contact from the app

The same form sits in the app under Settings › Contact support. You pick what it's about, write your question and tap Send. That is the one time anything goes from your phone to us, and it happens only on that tap.

What goes with it: your message, your email address, your first name if you enter it and, if you tick the box, the app version, your device type and your anonymous app ID. That last one helps with a purchase problem. Your clients, addresses, visits and location stay where they are: on your phone. No account, no login, no cloud, not for this either.

Refunds

Payments go through Apple or Google, so they decide on refunds. On iPhone, the "Request a refund" button under Settings › Contact support opens Apple's refund sheet; you fill it in there. On Android you ask through Google Play, or send us a message with "Subscription, payment or refund" as the topic and we help you back up the request.
